Digital Signature Certificate


 

  1. Introduction
    1. PRBDB has facilitated Class-III Digital Signature Certificate (DSCs) with a validity of 2 years for it's field officers of PWD (B&R) through a rate contract with M/s Meditech Solutions. 
    2. The DSCs are required for digital signing, web form signing, user authentication, single sign-on and involved in e-procurement / e-governance applications, Signing GST documents, filing Income Tax returns, Form 16/16A e-filing, Registrar of Companies and VAT.
    3. Issuance of Class-2 DSC has been discontinued from 1 Jan.-2021 as per CCA guidelines. Only Class- 3 DSC will be issued.  
    4. It is also informed that from 1st Jan-2021, DSC will be processed in a paperless manner. No DSC application form required.
    5. Real time video recording and email verification is mandatory now. 

 

  1. Procedure to obtain DSC

  1. DSC can be obtained by two methods:
    1. Authorisation Letter (Hard copies to be retained by the Applicant. Only the soft copies to be mailed on codesolutionsdsc@gmail.com with a cc to ddit.prbdb@punjab.gov.in )
      1. Scan copy of authorisation letter which have been attached herewith will be required instead of DSC application form.

      2. Supporting documents which are required with authorization letter are mentioned below.
  • Applicant PAN card  
  • Applicant Adhaar card  
  • Govt. issued official i-cards 
  • Applicant passport size coloured photograph.
  • Authorising person Govt. issued official i-card copy.
  • Applicant email id and mobile no.
    1. Scanned copy of the DD.

  1. Aadhaar Authentication (soft copies to be mailed on codesolutionsdsc@gmail.com with a cc to ddit.prbdb@punjab.gov.in )
    1. Copy of the Aadhar Card**
    2. Copy of PAN Card**
    3. Copy of I-Card
    4. Email ID
    5. Aadhaar linked Mobile Number (in case mobile number is not linked with Aadhaar then share 1 copy of the Coloured Passport sized photograph)
  1. Once the application for obtaining the DSC has been sent on mail, the registration is done at the backend and upon registration of the application, a link will be received by the applicant for email verification and video recording.
  2. Upon successfully verifying the email and submission of the video recording, the DSC will be approved after final verification by the backend team.

 

  1. Rate for DSC 
    1. Class III (Signing & Encryption) DSC is Rs. 1750/- for two year validity inclusive of all taxes.

 

  1. Payment Modes:

Note-

  1. **The copies of the Aadhaar and PAN are mandatory for enabling the DSC to be operational on all Government Portals. It must be ensured that the name spelling on Aadhaar and PAN should be the same.
